A severe sandstorm left Beijing looking like a scene from a science fiction movie on March 15, as the city was hit with its worst sandstorm in a decade.  The storm originated in Mongolia’s Gobi Desert, where hundreds of people were missing and at least nine deaths were linked to weather.
