This week’s video is the view of Hurricane Dorian from the International Space Station at an altitude of 260 miles on Sept. 2, shortly before 11:30 a.m. ET. Dorian weakened slightly to a category 3 hurricane on Sept. 3 as it continued to hover over the Bahamas, where so far it’s blamed for the deaths of at least five people and destruction or severe damage of up to 13,000 homes. Dorian is now in a four-way tie for the second-strongest Atlantic hurricane on record, based on its maximum sustained winds.
